Our story
Baked with love in Oconomowoc.
Mama K's Kitchen began like every good sourdough does — slowly. A jar on the counter, a quiet rhythm of feed-rest-feed, and a stubborn belief that the best things take time.
Every loaf, cookie, muffin, and pretzel that leaves our kitchen is small-batch and naturally leavened, made with simple ingredients and a starter we call #StarterSteve.
We're based in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. We bake to order, so what you receive is as fresh as it gets — usually still warm from the oven.

As seen on TV
Fox 6 and Brian Kramp
Fox 6's Brian Kramp stopped by to see how our small-batch sourdough comes together — starter, shaping, bake and all. Watch the full segment below.
Watch on FacebookSmall-batch, always
We never scale past the point where a baker's hands can know the dough. Every order gets the same attention as if it were going to family.
48-hour notice
Sourdough doesn't rush. Place orders at least 48 hours ahead so we can mix, proof, and bake on the right schedule.
